JAKARTA, KalderaNews.com – On April 3rd-7th 2018, a group of Asian Scholars and Experts will conduct a visit to the Democratic People’s Republic Of Korea (DPRK).
The group will consist of scholars and experts from several Asian countries, namely Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, The Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and New Zealand.
This track-2 outreach effort is initiated by Dr. Dino Patti Djalal, Founder of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia.
The purpose of the visit is to engage the DPRK counterparts in a discussion on contemporary issues faced by the region.
The group is expected to engage the DPRK government in a constructive discussion on the issue of economic development, where participants of the visiting group can share their country’s respective experiences on the reforms.
The group is scheduled to meet various government officials and other organizations and will have a meeting with scholars at Kim Il Sung University. (JS)
