JAKARTA, KalderaNews.com – To mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Sweden, the Swedish Embassy in Jakarta, supported by the Swedish Institute, organized the Join Sweden – Study & Career Fair on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Artotel Hotel in Gelora Senayan, Jakarta. The event brought together students, professionals, universities, alumni, and companies from Sweden.
Swedish Ambassador to Indonesia, Timor-Leste, ASEAN, and Papua New Guinea, Daniel Blockert, stated that the fair aimed to raise awareness and understanding of Sweden, higher education in Sweden, and Swedish companies in the Indonesian market.
“This year, we are celebrating 75 years of bilateral relations between our two countries, and I am pleased to see so many Indonesian students excited to study in Sweden and build careers in Swedish companies. Last year, around 160 Indonesian students started their studies in Sweden, joining the global network of Swedish alumni worldwide,” said Blockert.
