
JAKARTA, KalderaNews.com – The Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikdasmen) through the National Achievement Center (Puspresnas) has conducted the Stage II Coaching for the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) from April 22nd to May 1st, 2025, in Bandung, West Java.
A total of 10 outstanding students from various regions in Indonesia participated in this intensive coaching for the 55th IPhO in Paris, France, from July 17th to 25th, 2025.

According to Muhammad Rizqie Arbie (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ITB), the coaching team has provided intensive experimental and module materials. The participants showed high enthusiasm and actively interacted regarding the material, experimental methods, data processing, and analysis.
Muhammad Rakha Naufal Maulana stated that this coaching is an important step to represent Indonesia on the international stage. He also learned advanced physics material, discipline, hard work, and the importance of collaboration.
Daffa Virwandy applied the Seven Habits of Great Indonesian Children during the coaching, emphasizing discipline in daily routines. He hopes to be part of the Indonesian team at IPhO.
Kevancea Ikea Djunaedi feels this coaching is very important for learning problem-solving, theory, experiments, as well as interacting with other great students and gaining new knowledge from university lecturers.
International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2025
The world-class chemistry competition, the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from July 5th to 14th, 2025, will also be held soon.
A total of 12 students were selected to participate in the IChO 2025 Stage II Coaching which took place from April 20th to 29th, 2025.

- Muhammad Clerisyad Atthahirzi (SMA Al Wafi IBS, West Java)
- Naomi Michaela Lee (SMAS Kristen BPK Penabur Gading Serpong, Banten)
- Naufal Attalla Maadjid (SMA Negeri 8 Jakarta)

- Sultan El Shirazy (SMA Negeri 17 Palembang, South Sumatra)
Darren Mikael Chauhari shared his experience that the IChO coaching provided new material that he had never encountered in school. He hopes to pass to the next stage and give his best for Indonesia.
Naomi Michaela Lee feels this coaching is very beneficial because the material provided is much broader, and she hopes the knowledge gained can always be useful for herself and others.
Hopefully, the Indonesian national team can achieve brilliant achievements at the IPhO and IChO 2025!
