JAKARTA, KalderaNews.com– The Minister of Education, Culture and Science of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Robbert Dijkgraaf, will visit Indonesia from 20-23 July.

Minister Dijkgraaf will be accompanied by a delegation which consists of rectors and chairs of Dutch higher education and knowledge institutes.

The purpose of his visit to Indonesia is to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in education, research and science, and establish new opportunities for collaboration at government level and between knowledge institutions.

BACA JUGA:

The Dutch Minister will lead a wide array of visits and meetings. He will meet, the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, to discuss bilateral cooperation to further human capacity development and to combat societal challenges.

Naturally, he will also meet with the new Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency, Laksana Tri Handoko, to discuss enhancing cooperation in the fields of science and research.

Minister Dijkgraaf will also speak to a wider audience. He will hold a lecture at Universitas Indonesia and meet with alumni of Dutch higher education and knowledge institutions.

Furthermore, Minister Dijkgraaf and Minister Makarim will question one another and be interviewed by students on the role of education, research, and science for society.

This ‘In conversation with Minister Makarim and Minister Dijkgraaf’ will be moderated by journalist Marissa Anita, and take place in the library of the Erasmus Huis, the Dutch cultural center of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
