Andy Hadiyanto, UNJ’s Vice Rector for Cooperation and Business, stated that through this program, UNJ will educate international students, specifically introducing them to Betawi culture, prevalent in Jakarta.
He added that BSBI 2025 participants will extensively study Betawi culture, encompassing music, dance, visual arts, painting, fashion, and food. At the end of the program, students will perform in an Indonesian art show at UNJ and learn about diversity through the Pancasila and Civic Education Study Program at UNJ’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Law.
For UNJ, this program is highly strategic for improving the university’s key performance indicators related to internationalization, and it represents an opportunity to better prepare for welcoming more international students through future internationalization programs.
