Indonesia need more than 5000 professional logisticians per year

BANDUNG, KalderaNews.com – On Friday 31st of August 2018, Faculty of Industrial Technology of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Shipping and Transport College (STC Group) invited several prominent logistic leaders from government, academia and the logistic sector to celebrate the establishment of a bachelor’s degree in logistics at ITB, the first ITB Logistics Education Advisory Board and the launch of ITB’s Logistics laboratory. ITB and STC have been collaborating in strengthening education and research capacity in the logistics sector in Indonesia, supported by the Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE).

The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme. By strengthening higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries NICHE contributes to economic development and poverty reduction.
