EU awards Erasmus+ Scholarships for the 2022 to 210 Indonesian students and lecturers

Dimastyaji Yusron Nurseta, an Erasmus+ awardee who will study Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering expressed his excitement, “Europe’s advanced research ecosystem and its focus on sustainability issues fascinate me. Being awarded the Erasmus+ scholarship is a dream come true as I wish to explore bioproduct processing in Europe to contribute to sustainable utilisation of renewable resources in Indonesia.”

In the pre-departure event, the Erasmus Mundus Student and Alumni Association (EMA) Indonesia, an official organisation of Erasmus+ alumni in Indonesia, delivered an introduction about EMA Indonesia and a sharing session for awardees to be more prepared prior to their Erasmus+ studies.

Country Representative of EMA Indonesia, Dwi Fitriah Arrisandi, shared that EMA Indonesia focuses on promoting higher education opportunities to prospective students in Indonesia, particularly those living outside big-city areas, and empowering Erasmus+ alumni through professional networks and knowledge-sharing events.
